COMPOSITION
Tenidur Injectable Solution is a clear, colorless solution. Each ml contains 56.8 mg of praziquantel.
INDICATIONS FOR USE
Tenidur Injectable Solution, is used in dogs and cats to treat and control parasitic infections caused by; Echinococcus granulosus, Echinococcus multilocularis, Dipylidium caninum, Taenia pisiformis, Hydatigena (Taenia) taeniaeformis, Taenia hydatigena, Taenia ovis, Multiceps multiceps, Mesocestoides sp., larval and adult stages of Joyeuxiella pasqualei.
ADMINISTRATION ROUTES AND AMOUNTS
Unless advised otherwise by the veterinarian, Tenidur Injectable Solution’s pharmacological dose in cats and dogs is 5.68 mg praziquantel / kg bw and its practical dose is 1 ml / 10 kg bw. Tenidur Injectable Solution, is applied intramuscularly (IM) and subcutaneously (SC).
If Echinococcus infection is suspected; it must be administered intramuscularly (IM). If the amount of drug to be used in animal is above 3 ml; it should be administered intramuscularly (IM) or divided into two parts and apllied on two different spots.
