COMPOSITION
Each cream colored, spotted, bone-shaped, scored tablet contains 5 mg of ketoprofen.
INDICATIONS FOR USE
Ketopet Palatable 5 mg Oral Tablet; is used in cats and dogs as anti-inflammatory, analgesic and antipyretic for tendon, musculoskeletal system pain and inflammations and rheumatic disorders, aseptic inflammations of joints (traumatic arthritis-synovitis, tendinitis, osteochondritis dissecans, osselets, laminitis), soft tissue swellings and to reduce the pain in post-operative inflammation.
It is used as supportive along with antibacterial treatment in respiratory system infections accompanied by high fever and in other febrile illnesses, to relieve acute inflammation in endotoxic shock, in pain due to gastrointestinal system disorders.
ADMINISTRATION ROUTES AND AMOUNTS
Ketopet Palatable 5 mg Oral Tablet; is applied orally to dogs and cats at the dose of 1 mg ketoprofen/kg bw/day. Practically, 1 Ketopet Palatable 5 mg Oral Tablet is given to 5 kg bw to cats and dogs. Treatment is continued for 5 days. Following application of the Ketopet %1 Injectable Solution, Ketopet Palatable 5 mg Oral Tablet is given and the treatment is continued for 5 days in total.
MARKETING PACKAGING
Each tablet is sold in aluminium foil bags inside cardboard boxes containing 25 or 50 tablets each.
