COMPOSITION
Buservet Injectable Solution is a clear, colorless, sterile solution, Each ml contains 0.0042 mg buserelin acetate equivalent to 0.004 mg buserelin and 10 mg benzyl alcohol (E 1519) as a preservative.
INDICATIONS FOR USE
Buservet Injectable Solution is used in the following areas for the purpose of preventing various fertility disorders of ovarian origin and improving pregnancy rates in cattles, mares, rabbits, rainbow trout:
Cattle:
- Treatment of follicular cysts. (with or without symptoms of nymphomania)
- True anoestrus
- Delayed ovulation
- Improvement of pregnancy rate after artificial insemination and estrus synchronization,
- In the prophylaxis of fertility disorders caused by early onset of the cycle post-partum
- Improvement of the conception rate in artificial insemination procedures also after synchronization of estrus with a PGF2a analogue.
- Improvement of pregnancy rate
Horse:
- Anoestrus
- Treatment of follicular cysts. (with or without symptoms of nymphomania)
- To induce ovulation of a mature follicle and thereby to synchronise ovulation more closely
- Improvement of pregnancy rate
- Prolonged or continuous heat
Rabbit:
- Improving the pregnancy rate in animals undergoing natural or artificial insemination
- Ovulation induction at post partum insemination
Rainbow trout:
- To provide improvement in ovulation conditions and reduce mortality due to egg binding in rainbow trout
ADMINISTRATION ROUTES AND AMOUNTS
In cattle, horses and rabbits: Intramuscular injection is the preferred route of administration, but the product may also be administered intravenously or subcutaneously. It is administered intramuscularly (IM) to rainbow trout. Dose per animal; 10 to 20 μg buserelin in cows, 20 to 40 μg buserelin in mares and 0.8 μg buserelin in rabbits.
WITHDRAWAL PERIOD(S)
It is zero (0) days for meat and milk. It should not be used in rainbow trout used for human consumption.

Sold as 10x5ml and 10 ml type I colourless glass vials sealed with bromobutyl rubber stopper and aluminum flip-off lid and 20 ml type II colourless glass vials sealed with bromobutyl rubber stopper and aluminum flip-off lid in cardboard boxes.
