Mintiverm

Mintiverm Powder for Oral Solution is a white colored, odorless, fluid powder. Each gram contains 150 mg of levamizole HCl.

 

Mintiverm Powder for Oral Solution is effective against those: Ostertagia sp. and Haemonchus sp. found in abomasum of cattle and sheep; Cooperia sp., Trichostrongylus sp., Bunostomum species found in small intestines; Oesophagostomum sp., Chabertia ovina species found in large intestines; Dictyocaulus sp. from lungworms. In poultry, it is also effective against adult and larvae forms of Ascaridia galli, Heterakis gallinarum, Capillaria obsignata.

 

Levamisole HCl’s pharmacological one time dose from oral route is 7.5 mg/kg bw in cattle and sheep, 18 - 36 mg/kg bw in poultry.

 

Cattle and sheep: 15 g Mintiverm Powder for Oral Solution is prepared by dissolving it in 150 ml of drinking water. Obtained medicated solution is blurry white colored and each ml of it contains 15 mg of levamisole. Practical doses of prepared medicated solution are as follows:

Application in poultry: For poultry with a total weight of 75 kg, 15 g of Mintiverm Powder for Oral Solution is added to the drinking water. Animals should be left dehydrated 1 night before application in order to ensure complete consumption of medicated water within 2 - 3 hours.

 

Cattle, sheep and poultry should not be slaughtered during the treatment and for 14, 21 and 7 days following the last treatment, respectively. Do not use in cows and sheep producing milk for human consumption. Do not use in hens producing eggs for human consumption.

 

Sold as 15 g powder in aluminium foil covered pack, 100 g and 150 g in white colored polyethylene containers inside cardboard boxes and 500 g in white colored polyethylene container without boxes.
