COMPOSITION
Flutron-FC Pour-on Solution is a yellowish - dark brown - red colored solution. Each ml contains 5 mg of flumethrin and 5 mg of cyfluthrin.
INDICATIONS FOR USE
Flutron-FC Pour-on Solution is indicated in cattle in the treatment of adult and development stages of single and multi-host ticks (Boophilus sp., Hyalomma sp., Rhipicephalus sp., Ixodes ricinus, Amblyomma sp., Dermacentor sp.), sucking and biting lice (Haematopinus sternus, Linognathus vituli, Bovicola bovis), facultative and stationary flies landing on body surfaces. It is mainly effective against the following flies:
Biting flies: Haematobia irritans (horn fly), Haematobia irritans exigua (buffalo fly), Haematobia stimulans, Stomoxys calcitrans (barn fly)
Horse-flies: Tabanus, Pangonia, Haematopota (horse-fly), Chrysops, Hybomitra
Sucking flies: Musca autumnalis (face fly), Hydrotaea irritans (head fly), Morrelia spp., Musca domestica ve Fannia canicularis (house fly)
ADMINISTRATION ROUTES AND AMOUNTS
Unless advised otherwise by the veterinarian, open the cap of the polyethylene bottle and fill the upper part with required amount of solution by squeezing the bottle slightly. Then the bottle is released and the solution in the upper part is poured along the back part of the cattle. Application dosage is 0.5 mg/kg bw based on the pharmacological dosage of cyfluthrin.
WITHDRAWAL PERIOD(S)
Withdrawal period is 0 (zero) days for cattle milk and meat after the last treatment.
MARKETING PACKAGING
Sold as 100 ml and 500 ml in white colored polyethylene bottles inside cardboard boxes and 1 litre, 5 litres, 20 litres and 25 litres in white colored polyethylene bottles without boxes.
