COMPOSITION
Albecure K Oral Tablet is a white or light cream colored tablet with a notch line in the middle. Each tablet contains 375 mg of albendazole.
INDICATIONS FOR USE
Albecure-K Oral Tablet is used in cattle and sheep for the treatment and prophylaxis of adult, larvae and eggs of gastrointestinal and lung worms, adults and eggs of liver flukes, young and adult tapeworms.
Cattle
Gastrointestinal roundworms: Trichostrongylus sp., Oesophagostomum sp., Haemonchus sp., Cooperia sp., Ostertagia sp., Bunostomum sp., Chabertia sp., Gaigeria pachyscelis, Nematodirus sp., Strongyloides sp., Trichuris sp.
Lung worms: Dictyocaulus viviparus
Liver flukes: Fasciola hepatica, F. gigantica, Dicrocoelium dentriticum
Tapeworms: Moniezia sp., Thysanosoma actinoides
Sheep
Gastrointestinal roundworms: Trichostrongylus sp., Oesophagostomum sp., Haemonchus sp., Cooperia sp., Ostertagia sp., Bunostomum sp., Chabertia sp., Gaigeria pachyscelis, Nematodirus sp., Strongyloides sp.

ADMINISTRATION ROUTES AND AMOUNTS
Unless advised otherwise by the veterinarian, its pharmacological doses in cattle and sheep are; 7.5 mg/kg bw for gastrointestinal and lung worms, 10 mg/kg bw for tapeworms, 15 mg/kg bw for Fasciola hepatica and F. gigantica and 20 mg/kg bw for Dicrocoelium dentriticum.
Tablets are administered orally at a time. Tablets can also be used as half by breaking from the notch line in the middle if necessary. If the application requires a lower dose than half a tablet, the tablets may be dissolved in water and given to a few animals.
WITHDRAWAL PERIOD(S)
Cattle and sheep should not be slaughtered during the treatment and for 14 and 10 days following the last treatment, respectively. Cow and sheep milk should not be consumed during the treatment and for 3 days (6 milkings) after the last drug administration.
MARKETING PACKAGING
Sold as 10, 50 and 100 tablets as each 5 tablets in aluminium foil covered PVC blister packs inside cardboard boxes.
