Zimec-FC

Zimec-FC Injectable Solution is a clear, colorless or pale yellow colored solution. Each ml contains 10 mg of ivermectin and 100 mg of clorsulon.

 

Zimec-FC Injectable Solution is used against internal and external parasites in cattle, including liver flukes.

 

Cattle

Liver flukes: Adult Fasciola hepatica and Fasciola gigantica

Gastrointestinal nematodes: Haemonchus placei, Ostertagia sp., O. ostertagi (adults, larval stages, hypobiotic larvae), O. Iyrate (adults, L4 larvae), Mecistocirrus digitatus (adults), Trichostrongylus axei, T. colubriformis, Cooperia oncophora, C. punctata, C. pectinata, Cooperia sp., Nematodirus helvetianus (adults), N. spathiger (adults), Oesophagostomum radiatum, Strongyloides papillosus (adults), Bunostomum phlebotomum, Toxocara vitulorum

Filariasis factors in the skin: Parafilaria bovicola

Zimec-FC Injectable Solution is administered only by subcutaneous injection. It is injected subcutaneously in the neck region or under the loose skin behind the scapula in cattle. Asepsis and antiseptic conditions should be provided during the application. A dry, sterile injection needle and syringe must be used.

 

Zimec-FC Injectable Solution is applied at dose of 0.2 mg ivermectin / kg bw, and 2 mg clorsulon / kg bw i.e. 1 ml of Zimec-FC Injectable Solution to 50 kg bw, unless recommended otherwise by the veterinarian.

If dose volume exceeds 10 ml, it should be divided and injected into different sites. This product is for subcutaneous administration only. Do not use intramuscularly or intravenously.

 

Cattle should not be slaughtered for human consumption during the treatment and for 35 days after the last treatment. Do not use in lactating cows producing milk for human consumption.

 

Sold as 20 ml, 50 ml, 100 ml and 250 ml in white colored glass vials inside cardboard boxes.
