COMPOSITION
Each strip contains 20 mg of amitraz (N-methyl-bis(2,4-xylyliminomethyl) amine).
INDICATIONS FOR USE
It is used against bee mites (Varroa jacobsoni Oudemans), which live as parasitic on honey bee (Apis mellifera L.) and damage honey bees in larval and adult stages.
ADMINISTRATION ROUTES AND AMOUNTS
Only one strip should be burned in one hive. A cardboard strip is hung with wire to an empty honeycomb frame, is burnt, and immediately placed in the hive while is smoking. During this time the flight hole should be kept open.
Medication should be repeated 3 times with 3 days interval. If the Varroa density is too high, the medication should be applied 4 times with 3 days intervals.
WITHDRAWAL PERIOD(S)
Honey should not be consumed for 30 days after the last drug administration.

It is packaged as 10 strips of 2x10 cm are sold in aluminium foil bags inside cardboard boxes contain 3 aluminium foil bags.
