ADMINISTRATION ROUTES AND AMOUNTS
Shake the bottle gently before use. Unless advised otherwise by the veterinarian, it is used as bath, washing or spraying. The application solution is prepared by directly adding the drug to the water. 0.1 - 0.2 % solutions are used against tick, mange, lice and flies. Depending on the type of parasite and application method, administration routes and amounts are given in the table below:
Application by spraying: The drug is diluted like suggested above and diluted emulsion is applied by spraying with a back pump to the related area until the skin is wet. Single application is effective for 2 - 4 weeks.
Suggestions for bathing: The filling capacity of the bath should be exactly determined. When the water level in the bath decreases by 10%, the decreasing amount should be reinforced. For this, 100 ml of Sipertek is added to 100 liters of water, and this solution is kept ready aside with enough water to supply the bath. Always keep the animals in bathroom for 1 minute and their heads should be immersed in the bath at least once. Bathing should not be applied on rainy days. The application should be repeated if the animals are exposed to severe rain within 24 hours after bathing. Tired, exhausted and thirsty animals should not be bathed. A suitable place should be prepared for pouring the bath water remaining on the animals afterwards and the bath should be designed so that the water spilled over the animals can be returned to the bath.
WITHDRAWAL PERIOD(S)
Cattle, sheep and goat should not be slaughtered for human consumption during the treatment and for 14 days following the last treatment. Cow milk should not be used for human consumption during the treatment and for 15 days (30 milkings) following the last treatment.
