COMPOSITION
Levatek 10% Injectable Solution is a clear, colorless sterile solution. Each ml contains 100 mg of levamisole HCl, 1.3 mg of methyl parahydroxybenzoate (E218), 0.2 mg of propyl parahydroxybenzoate (E216), 2.0 mg of sodium metabisulfite (E223) as preservatives.
INDICATIONS FOR USE
Levatek 10% Injectable Solution, is a broad spectrum antihelmenthic for use of treatment and control of hairworms invasion in cattle and sheep. Product is used for treatment and control of parasitic enteritis and lungworms invasion caused by mature or developing immature forms of levamisole HCL-susceptive organisms, as follows:
Lungworms( adult and larval forms): Dictyocaulus spp.
Gastro-intestinal worms ( adult and larval forms):
Trichostrongylus sp.
Strongyloides sp.,
Cooperia sp.
Ostertagia sp.( except for Ostertagia larva inhibited in cattle)
Haemonchus sp.
Nematodirus sp.
Bunostomum sp.
Oesophagostomum sp.
Chabertia sp.
ADMINISTRATION ROUTES AND AMOUNTS
Pharmacologically, treatment dosage of Levamisole HCI is 7,5 mg/kg b.w. 1,5 ml of Levatek 10 % is application by subcutan(SC) and deep intramusculer (IM) in cattle maximum 30 ml and in sheep maximum 3 ml per animal.
Body weight should correctly be detected as much as possible in order to provide administration of the correct dose. If animals need to be treated collectively rather than individually, they should be grouped by body weight to prevent more or less dose and dose should be administrated accordingly. Properly calibrated dosing equipment should be used. The stopper should not be punctured more than 40 times.
Veterinarian should advise on appropriate dosing schedules and herd management to ensure adequate parasite control.
WITHDRAWAL PERİOD(S)
Cattle and sheep should not be slaughtered during treatment and for 28 days following last drug application. Product should not be used in cattle and sheep producing milk for human consumption, following the last two months of pregnancy.

Sold as 100 ml type II amber colored glass vials sealed with red bromobutyl rubber stopper and navy blue aluminum flip-off lid in cardboard boxes.
