COMPOSITION
Flutron Pour-on Solution is a yellowish - dark brown - red colored solution. Each ml contains 10 mg of flumethrin.
INDICATIONS FOR USE
Flutron Pour-on Solution is indicated in cattle and sheep for the elimination of both adult and developing single or multi-host ticks (Boophilus sp., Hyalomma sp., Rhipicephalus sp., Ixodes ricinus, Amblyomma sp., Dermacentor sp.), sucking and biting lice (Haematopinus sternus, Linognathus vituli, Bovicola bovis, B. ovis, Melophagus ovinus), psoroptic mange (Psoroptes ovis). In dogs, it is indicated in the treatment and control of Demodex mange.
ADMINISTRATION ROUTES AND AMOUNTS
Unless advised otherwise by the veterinarian, open the cap of the polyethylene bottle and fill the upper part with required amount of solution by squeezing the bottle slightly. In cattle, release the bottle and pour the solution inside the upper part along the back of the cattle (from cidago to sacrum). Application dose varies depending on the parasite type. Pharmacological dosage of flumethrin is 1 mg/kg bw against ticks and biting lice, 2 mg/kg bw against Psoroptes mange and sucking lice. Application doses are as follows:
Sheep: Application can be performed in two different ways:
a) Carry out the application in recently trimmed sheep by pouring on the animal from cidago to sacrum. If the hair or wool is long, separate it to both sides with hand and pour the dose on the skin showing up as a line.
b) Place the animal down on its hip, and apply the dosage to the sides of the stomach and the parts between the front and back legs that have no hair. The dosage is drawn to an injector with no needle mounted and is applied to many spots.
Application against psoroptic mange and lice: In cattle and sheep, use at two times of the dose stated above.
Dogs: In case of Demodex mange, apply at the dose of 1 ml / 10 kg bw. It can be applied directly on the scabies or on the spine from the nose to the tail.
WITHDRAWAL PERIOD(S)
Withdrawal period is 0 (zero) days for cattle milk and meat and sheep meat during the treatment and after the last treatment. Do not apply to sheep producing milk for human consumption.

Sold as 100 ml and 500 ml in white colored polyethylene bottles inside cardboard boxes.
