COMPOSITION: Tulamycin Injectable Solution contains 100 mg tulathromycin and 5.00 mg 3-Mercapto-1-2 Propanediol (monothioglycerol) as a preservative in each ml.
Tulamycin Injectable Solution is used for the treatment and prevention of bovine respiratory disease (BRD) caused by tulothromycin-sensitive bacteria for cattle. It is also used in the treatment of Infectious Bovine Keratoconjunctivitis caused by Tulothromycin-sensitive Moraxella bovis.Tulamycin is used to treat the early stages of infectious pododermatitis (foot rot) infection associated with virulent Dichelobacter nodosus requiring systemic treatment for sheep.
It is applied subcutaneously to cattle and intramuscularly to sheep, 1 ml / 40 kg body weight as a single application.
Drug Residue Purification Time (D.R.P.T.); During the treatment and after the last drug application, cattle should not be sent to slaughter for 22 days and sheep should not be sent to slaughter for 16 days. It should not be applied to lactating cows and sheep whose milk is offered for human consumption. It should not be administered to pregnant animals whose milk will be offered for human consumption, for 2 months before the expected date of birth.
