COMPOSITION
Neosülfaprim Powder for Oral Solution is a white colored, fluid powder. Each gram contains neomycin sulfate equivalent to 125 mg neomycin base, 50 mg of trimethoprim, sulfadiazine sodium equivalent to 250 mg sulfadiazine base.
INDICATIONS FOR USE
Pre-ruminant calves, lambs and kids: It is used in the treatments of pneumonia, bronchitis, nephritis, inflammation of the umbilical cord caused by susceptible bacteria, bacterial enteritis caused by Salmonella and Vibrio species, other soft tissue diseases.
Broiler chickens: It is used in the treatments of diseases caused by E. coli, Salmonella and Pasteurella species, coryza and cholera caused by Haemophilus and Yersinia species, besides, rhinitis, conjunctivitis, sinusitis and bacterial enteritis caused by susceptible bacteria.
ADMINISTRATION ROUTES AND AMOUNTS
It is easily dissolved in water so it is used by adding it to drinking water. Unless advised otherwise by the veterinarian, the daily dose is used as follows.
Calves, lambs and kids: 1 g Neosülfaprim Powder for Oral Solution for each 12.5 kg bw for a day is mixed and given with sufficient amount of water.
Broiler chickens: 2 g Neosülfaprim Powder for Oral Solution for each 12.5 kg bw for a day is mixed and given with drinking water.
It is advisable to leave the animals dehydrated 2-3 hours before application. Medicated water should be prepared freshly every day. In all species, continue the treatment for 3 - 5 days.
WITHDRAWAL PERIOD(S)
During the treatment and following the last treatment; calves, lambs and kids should not be slaughtered for 14 days and also chickens for 10 days. Do not use in hens producing eggs for human consumption.

Sold as 20 g in honey colored glass bottles inside cardboard boxes and 1 kg in white colored plastic bottles without boxes.
