COMPOSITION
Neocure Powder for Oral Solution is a yellow – pale yellow powder. Each gram contains oxytetracycline HCl equivalent to 231.6 mg oxytetracycline base and neomycin sulfate equivalent to 161.3 mg neomycin base.
INDICATIONS FOR USE
Neocure Powder for Oral Solution, is used in the following infections caused by susceptible bacteria;
In chicken, turkey and ducks: Chronic respiratory system disease (CRD), bluecomb disease, infectious coryza, infectious sinusitis, air sacculitis, poultry cholera.
In calves, lambs and kids: Bacterial enteritis, septisemia, respiratory and digestive system infections.
ADMINISTRATION ROUTES AND AMOUNTS
Unless advised otherwise by the veterinarian, its pharmacological dose is 10 mg/kg bw / day based on neomycin.
In lambs and kids: 1.2 g Neocure Powder for Oral Solution for 20 kg body weight.
In calves: 3 g Neocure Powder for Oral Solution for 50 kg body weight is given by mixing with some water. Do not mix with milk.
In chicken, turkey and ducks: 3 g Neocure Powder for Oral Solution for 50 kg body weight is given by mixing in drinking water.
It is advisable to leave the animals dehydrated 2-3 hours before application. Medicated water should be prepared freshly every day. In all species, continue the treatment for 3 - 5 days.
WITHDRAWAL PERIOD(S)
During the treatment and following the last treatment; calves and lambs should not be slaughtered for 10 days and also chickens, turkeys and ducks for 14 days. Do not use eggs for human consumption for 14 days during the treatment and following the last treatment.
MARKETING PACKAGING
Sold as 20 g in honey colored glass bottles inside cardboard boxes, 100 g in aluminum foil bags without boxes and 1 kg in white colored polythylene containers.
