COMPOSITION
Gentacure 10% Injectable Solution is a colorless or cream colored, clear, non-particulate solution. Each ml contains gentamicin sulfate equivalent to 100 mg of gentamicin base.
INDICATIONS FOR USE
Gentacure 10% Injectable Solution is used in cattle, horses, cats and dogs in the treatment of infections caused by gentamicin-sensitive organisms.
- Respiratory system infections (tracheobronchitis, pneumonia, pleuritis)
- Gastrointestinal system infections (colibacillosis, dysentery, septicemia)
- Urogenital system infections (endometritis, metritis, cystitis, nephritis, mastitis)
- Soft tissue infections
ADMINISTRATION ROUTES AND AMOUNTS
Gentacure 10% Injectable Solution is applied via intramuscular (IM), intravenous (IV) or subcutaneous (SC) routes at the dose of 4 mg/kg bw / day to cattle and horses, 5 mg/kg bw / day to cats and dogs, unless recommended otherwise by the veterinarian.
More than 10 ml should not be injected to the same site at a time in large animals.
Do not overdose. Dosing should be done carefully especially in weak and small animals.
WITHDRAWAL PERIOD(S)
Cattle should not be slaughtered for human consumption during the treatment and for 80 days following the last treatment. Cow milk should not be used for human consumption during the treatment and for 2 days (4 milkings) following the last treatment.

Sold as 20 ml, 50 ml, 100 ml and 250 ml in amber colored glass vials inside cardboard boxes.
