Veterinary Systemic Antibacterial
COMPOSITION
Each ml contains 300 mg of florfenicol.
INDICATIONS FOR USE
Flortek 30% Oral Solution is used in the treatment of infections caused by florfenicol-sensitive strains of the following bacteria in chickens.
E. coli infections, Pasteurella infections, infectious airway inflammation, staphylococcal infections; Ornithobacterium rhinotracheale infections, other infections caused by microorganisms sensitive to florfenicol.
ADMINISTRATION ROUTES AND AMOUNTS
It is administered orally by adding to drinking water.
Chickens:
It is administered at a dose of 20 mg florfenicol/kg body weight/day for 3-5 days.
Practically, 10 ml of product is used per 150 kg body weight per day.
During the treatment, the medicated water should be the only drinking water source of the animals, and the animals should not meet their water needs from another water source until the medicated water is completely consumed. If this is not possible, the daily dose can be divided into two and administered in the morning and evening.
Consumption of medicated water may vary according to age, outdoor or poultry temperature, or clinical status of the disease. For this reason, the amount of water to be added to the drug should be in the amount that the animals can consume.
The total weight of the animals should be calculated correctly to avoid under or overdose.
WITHDRAWAL PERIOD(S)
Chickens should not be slaughtered for human consumption during the treatment and for 5 days following the last treatment. Do not use in chicken producing eggs for human consumption.

Sold as 100 ml White colored bottles inside cardboard boxes and1 liter and 2.5 liter in white-colored polyethylene containers without boxes.
