COMPOSITION
Amoxynil LA Injectable Suspension, a cream-colored, sterile, oily suspension, each ml contains amoxicillin trihydrate equivalent to 150 mg amoxicillin, along with 0.08 mg of butylhydroxytoluene (E321) and 0.08 mg of butylhydroxyanisole (E320) as antioxidants.
INDICATIONS FOR USE
Amoxynil LA Inj. Suspension is used in the treatment of respiratory, digestive, urogenital systems, skin and soft tissue infections caused by Gram positive and Gram negative bacteria susceptible to amoxicillin, including the following bacteria;
Clostridium spp.
Corynebacterium spp.
Erysipelas spp.
Fusiformis spp.
Haemophilus spp.
Pasteurella spp.
Streptococci spp.
Salmonella spp.
Staphylococci
Mannheimia haemolytica
ADMINISTRATION ROUTES AND AMOUNTS
Shake well before use. Use dry, sterile needles and syringes.
It is applied at a dose of 15 mg/kg body weight (practically for 1 ml product/10 kg body weight) in animals where indicated.
The injection should be repeated after 48 hours.
The weight of the animals should be measured as accurately as possible to ensure that the correct amount of product is administered.
It is applied by deep intramuscular route in cattle, sheep and goats, and by intramuscular or subcutaneous route in cats and dogs. Especially if a small dose of product is to be used, a suitable needle should be used to ensure that the required amount is injected into the animal.
The injection site should be massaged after the injection.
As with other injectable products, aseptic precautions should be taken.
In cases where there is no clinical response after the second application, the diagnosis should be reviewed and the treatment should be changed if necessary.
WITHDRAWAL PERIOD(S)
During the treatment period and after the last drug administration, cattle should not be slaughtered before 92 days and sheep and goats before 45 days. Cow milk should not be used for human consumption during the treatment and for 9 days (18 milkings) following the last treatment. Sheep and goat milk should not be used for human consumption during the treatment and for 6.5 days (13 milkings) following the last treatment.

Amoxynil LA injectable suspension; sold as 50 ml, 100 ml and 250 ml type II glass vials closed with bromobutyl rubber stopper and aluminum flip-off cap in cardboard box.
