Composition :
Teknotil Powder For Oral Solution is an almost white, pale yellow coloured powder. Each gram powder contains Tylosin tartrate equivalent to 840 mg of Tylosin base.
INDICATIONS
Teknotil Powder For Oral Solution is used in infections of gastrointestinal and respiratory tract in calves, caused by susceptible bacteria, respiratory system infection (CRD) in chickens and turkeys, infectious bronchitis, infectious laryngotracheitis, infectious sinusitis and uses in treatment of other Mycoplasma infections and in treatment of infections caused by susceptible microorganisms to tylosin.
ADMINISTRATION AND DOSAGE
Unless recommended otherwise by the veterinarian ;
2 g Teknotil Powder For Oral Solution mix with sufficient amount of drinking water for per 50 kg body weight and administer orally to calves.
5 g and 6 g Teknotil Powder For Oral Solution mix with sufficient amount of drinking water for 100 kg body weight and administer orally to hens and turkeys, respectively.
Medicated water should be prepared fresh every day. It is recommended to keep the animals dehydrated 2-3 hours before the administration of the medicated water. In all species, treatment should be continued for 3-5 days depending on the condition of the disease.
WITHDRAWAL TIME
Withdrawals Periods: Calves should not be slaughtered until 14 days, turkeys 5 days and chickens 2 days after treatment and the last drug application. Do not use eggs for human consumption for 5 days during the treatment and following the last treatment.
