COMPOSITION
Teknomax Powder for Oral Solution is white – off white colored, fine powder. Each gram contains amoxicillin trihydrate equivalent to 800 mg amoxicillin.
INDICATIONS FOR USE
Teknomax Powder for Oral Solution is used in calves, lambs, kids, chicken and turkey in the treatment of respiratory and gastrointestinal system and urogenital system infections caused by susceptible bacteria.
In calves, lambs and kids: Bacterial diarrhea, coliseptisemia, bronchopneumonia, polyarthritis, enteritis, umblical infections and other respiratory and gastrointestinal system infections and urogenital system infections.
In chicken and turkey: Colibacillosis, pullorum, typhoid, paratyphoid, air sacculitis of turkeys, infectious coryza, listeriosis and secondary bacterial infections of viral and mycoplasmal diseases (CRD and CCRD).
ADMINISTRATION ROUTES AND AMOUNTS
Teknomax Powder for Oral Solution’s active ingredient amoxicillin’s pharmacological dose is 20 mg/kg / body weight / day. It is easily dissolved in water so it is used by adding it to drinking water. Treatment is continued for 3 – 5 days depending on the severity of disease. The daily dose should be given in 2 - 3 hours by dissolving in the drinking water to be consumed.
Unless advised otherwise by the veterinarian, the amount of daily medicine to be calculated on the basis of the total body weight for collective treatment in broiler chickens and turkeys is as follows;
It is calculated from the equation below by considering the practical dose table;
Teknomax Powder for Oral Solution (g) = Number of poultry x Average body weight x 25/1000 
Teknomax Powder for Oral Solution calculated on a daily basis:
1. Each 100 g of Teknomax Powder for Oral Solution is mixed with 480 ml of water, stirred until obtaining a homogenous front suspension and then transferred to the main water tank.
2. If continuous drug administration with water throughout the day is required, the water tank must be mixed at intervals of 2 - 3 hours. However, unused medicated water within 12 hours should not be used again.
3. As a safer application option, daily medication calculated for poultry flock, when it is necessary, can be consumed in 2-3 hours according to the principle of controlled water consumption. For this, drinking water is not given to the animals 2 hours before application (can be kept shorter in the summer), and the prepared medicated pre-mixture is transferred to the main water tank containing enough water to be consumed in 2-3 hours, mixed thoroughly and then given to the animals. Animals should not be given fresh water in the course of giving medicated water. After the application of the medicated water is completed, it can be converted to normal drinking water. 
4. Chicks younger than 5 days can consume less water according to their body weight. For this reason, in order to give the necessary dosage of 20 mg/kg, the required amount of Teknomax Powder for Oral Solution is dissolved in drinking water to give a concentration of 1000 ppm amoxicillin (100 g / 80 liters of water) and given to be consumed within 2 - 3 hours. The recommended dosage and duration should not be exceeded.
Calves, lambs and kids: 1 g Teknomax Powder for Oral Solution is given for 40 kg body weight by mixing with drinking water. Treatment is continued for 3 – 5 days.
WITHDRAWAL PERIOD(S)
During the treatment and following the last treatment; chicken and turkey should not be slaughtered for 7 days and also lambs, kids and calves for 20 days. Do not use in hens and turkeys producing eggs for human consumption.
MARKETING PACKAGING
Sold as 20 g in white colored polyethylene bottles, 10 x 100 g in aluminum foil bags inside cardboard boxes and 500 g, 1 kg and 2.5 kg in white colored polyethylene containers without boxes.
